Firm Overview
Herrera & Associates has provided legal services to the Dallas area for over ten years. Practice areas include family and criminal law, juvenile law, personal injury, employment law, civil law, and probate law. We provide services to all our clients in both English and Spanish. Our attorneys are experienced litigators who aggressively pursue our clients’ interests to the fullest extent of the law. We are licensed to practice in the Federal District Courts, both Northern and Eastern District.
Alberto Herrera is the principal attorney and has been licensed since 2001. He has conducted hundreds of trials and is an experienced litigator in the fields of family and criminal law, juvenile law, personal injury, employment law, civil and probate law. Mr. Herrera attended Southern Methodist University and received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989. Previous experience includes working in local, city and county governments for almost twenty years. In the past, he conducted training for law enforcement staff and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Departments Academy. Mr. Herrera graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. He is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Texas Family Law Section of the State Bar.
Alfonso J. Herrera is an associate and has been licensed since 2010. He received his law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He attended George Washington University and graduated from Texas State University in 2004 with bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish. In law school, he was a Merit Scholar, a member of the law school’s highly successful moot court, and trial advocacy AAJ teams, a CALI highest grade award recipient, and inducted into the legal honors fraternity Phi Delta Phi. He is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and American Association for Justice. He is also licensed in the United States Federal District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts.
