Family Law

The firm has over ten years experience representing clients in divorces, child custody, CPS cases, child support, adoptions, property divisions, name changes, and paternity determinations. Alberto Herrera has previously been appointed ad litem attorney to represent children and publication attorney to represent absent parents by the Dallas County Family District Courts. We will vigorously represent our client’s interest to obtain the best possible outcome for them and their children.

Criminal Law

For the last decade, the firm has aggressively defended clients who have been accused of a variety of criminal charges to include murder, sexual assault, robbery, kidnapping, drug possession and sale, driving while intoxicated, and assault. We seek to obtain evidence and police reports at the earliest possible opportunity to prepare the best defense for our clients. We seek examining trials and submit grand jury packets to attempt to remove the criminal charges from our clients at the earliest possible point in the criminal prosecution process.

Juvenile Law

We actively defend juvenile clients who are charged with criminal offenses. We work with juvenile department staff, psychologists, probation officers, the district attorney, and social workers to ensure the best possible outcome for the minor client and their family. We will assist clients throughout the juvenile justice process concluding with trial.

Personal injury

To better serve our clients, we actively engage the defendant’s insurance company, seek out all relevant documentation, medical care and reports, police reports, and witness statements. We will conduct depositions to gather all necessary information to help ensure the best opportunity for success for the client. We will file suit to obtain the maximum result for our client.

Employment Law

We represent clients who have claims against their employers due to the employer’s actions in violation of their own policies, federal or state equal employment and anti-discrimination laws. Alberto Herrera, principal attorney, was previously employed as the Human Resource Administrator and has experience defending against employment law claims. This prior experience makes him uniquely qualified to represent clients against their employers.

Civil law

The firm protects the interests of clients and/or businesses against other individuals and/or businesses that cause them harm. We will vigorously prosecute our client’s claims by conducting in depth discovery and research. If needed, we conduct asset searches to ensure that the defendants are not judgment proof. We aggressively pursue a positive outcome at trial for our clients.

Probate

We can provide assistance to clients by drafting wills, codicils, creating guardianships, modifying guardianships, and assistance to executors and/or administrators. This is an area of the law that no one wishes to discuss but must in order to protect not only the ones you love but also to protect the product of your lifetime’s work and ensure your final requests in regard to funeral arrangements, organ donations, or other bequests made fully.
